Editorial standards
The principles that govern what we publish and how.
Accuracy
Every claim about how a system works, when something happened, or what the evidence shows is checked against primary sources: peer-reviewed papers, official documentation, or reputable secondary reporting. Where evidence is contested, we say so.
Neutrality
We do not promote specific labs, companies, products, or ideological positions. When we describe an organisation or technology, the goal is informed understanding, not endorsement.
Separation of fact and speculation
Established science, active research, and forward-looking speculation are presented as distinct categories. Speculative material is labelled. Confident predictions about AGI timelines are avoided.
Plain language
Technical terms are defined on first use. Where simplification risks losing meaning, we keep precision and explain the term.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected promptly. We welcome correction requests via the contact page; verified corrections are made directly in the affected page and noted in any associated update log.
No AI-generated filler
Pages are written and edited by humans. AI tools may be used for research assistance, drafting, or formatting, but every published page is reviewed for accuracy before going live.
No conflicts of interest
ZootAGI does not accept paid placements, affiliate revenue tied to specific AI products, or sponsored content that influences editorial direction.
